With everyday I find more and more joy

Well today is the second day little Connor has been at our house. What a wonderful blessing he is to all of us. Lauren had a little bit of a hard start with this thing called "motherhood". Not so much the actual fact that she is a mother but how to be a mother/caretaker to an infant. Therefore, she and Micah made a decision that she should stay with us for a few weeks to kind of get some informal training from me. She is doing very well with it thus far, although we are still working on the fussy times. I am very thankful for my grandson and the sweetness of his presence. He has brought such joy to our family. I am still very concerned about Lauren going back to Micah. I have the hardest time with my feelings about him. I keep praying about it and hoping that God will do a work in me and take these bad feelings from me. Or that God will move in this marriage and let the fallout happen. Whatever direction that takes. I ask that those that read this please pray for Lauren and especially Connor.
We are still working on a schedule for Connor, he is doing pretty good. But when he gets a tummy ache or goes too long without eating he gets really fussy. He has somewhat of a little temper cause he gets all worked up and it takes sometimes an hour to get him settled back down. At that point he usually passes out from exhaustion. This has been a full family participation with the night duty. Although we are trying to let Lauren do it as much as possible, this is the only way to learn. But that is hard for us cause everyone wants to hold him and kiss him. My mom has been a great help, she is here whenever she is off to take the load off us. All Lauren's life we have told her what a blessing it is to have a large family. She is seeing that now.
Well that is all for today. We will be working on moving today and tomorrow. This is a long story, but basically we are having to move because our landlord decided that he doesn't want us to have our little dog Sadie in the house. He gave us the option to stay if we wanted to pay a $2000 dollar pet deposit (an 11 pound dog). This has been hard on us because we signed a lease with him that would mean we stay in this house until Travis graduates. (5 years) God has provided to find a house in the Woodlands that is more than big enough (lauren will have a room) and close to the school. We will stay there until Travis graduates and the landlord loves our Sadie.
Better get going, have to get things ready, movers will be here Friday morning at 10 am to get us moved in one swoop!
Blessings to all, we are praying and thinking of each of you!
